New Delhi, 10 December 2025: Shri Shalabh Tyagi, IRSEE, as he assumes the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), ONGC, following the approval of the Government of India.
A distinguished IIT Kharagpur Electrical Engineer and a 1997-batch Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) officer, Shri Tyagi brings with him a remarkable journey of nation-building, from engineering India’s first AC Metro rake for Kolkata to driving the transformative Mission 100% Electrification of the Indian Railways. His leadership across Railways, Defence Production and multiple Public Sector domains reflects an enduring commitment to innovation, safety, and ethical governance.
