Jhajjar, 14 June 2026: In observance of World Blood Donor Day, APCL Hospital in association with the Indian Red Cross Society Jhajjar, has successfully organized a blood donation camp on 13 June 2026. The initiative was undertaken with objective of strengthening blood reserves and creating awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving precious lives.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri Virender Malik, Director (APCPL) and Executive Director (Finance), NTPC Limited and Smt. Annu Malik, Senior Member, Sanyukta Mahila Samiti in the gracious presence of Shri Dilip Kaibortta, CEO APCPL, other senior official of APCPL , Smt. Mamta Kaibortta, President Sakhi Ladies Club and other senior members of the club. On the occasion, the dignitaries commended the donor and encourage voluntary blood donation as a noble act of service towards society.
The response to the camp was highly encouraging, reflecting the spirit of service and social responsibility among employee, associates and members of the local community. A total of 85 individuals registered for blood donation out of which 62 successfully donated blood following medical screening.
