Lucknow, 02 June 2026: NTPC Unchahar’s CSR initiative Girl Empowerment Mission 2026 conducted a motivational interaction session by Dr. Amita Jain, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Raebareli.
Addressing the GEM 2026 participants, Dr. Jain spoke on the importance of education, self-confidence, and breaking barriers for girls from rural backgrounds. She emphasized that health, knowledge, and determination are the strongest tools for girls to shape their own future. She encouraged the girls to dream big, work hard, and believe in their potential to lead in any field.
Dr. Jain also highlighted the role of proper nutrition, mental well-being, and preventive healthcare in building a strong foundation for young girls. She lauded NTPC Unchahar for running the 4-week residential GEM workshop that combines academics, life skills, health, and personality development.
GEM 2026 aims to empower rural girls by giving them exposure, mentorship, and skills to become future leaders of the nation. The program saw active participation from GEM trainees.
