Prayagraj, 06 January 2026: MUNPL organised the inaugural ceremony of the Winter Workshop 2025–26 of the Girl Empowerment Mission under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at the auditorium of St. Joseph School.
The Chief Guest of the programme was Shri G. Srinivasa Rao, CEO, MUNPL who extended his best wishes on the occasion and encouraged the girls to pursue education and move ahead confidently in life. The Special Guest of the programme was Shrimati Kavitha Rao, President, Aparajita Mahila Samaj. The welcome address was delivered by Shri Vivek Chandra, HOHR, while the programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Ajay Singh, DGM HR.
Senior officials of MUNPL, office bearers of Aparajita Mahila Samaj, Association and union representatives ,40 girl students along with their parents, were present during the programme. Two girls who had benefited from the Girl Empowerment Mission also shared their experiences with those present. During the event, school bags were distributed to all participating girls.
The objective of this one-week workshop is to enhance the creative and artistic talents of the girls, boost their self-confidence, and promote awareness about social equality. MUNPL started the Girl Child Empowerment Mission in 2019, inspired by the Government of India’s Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative.
The Girl Child Empowerment program organised by MUNPL aims to eliminate gender inequality by providing greater opportunities to girls.
