Shimla, 27 November 2025: Awareness sessions on New Labour Codes were organized at SJVN’s projects. At 382 MW Sunni Dam Hydro Electric Project, the session was chaired by Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), in presence of Shri C S Yadav, Executive Director (HR), HOPs of NJHPS, Rampur HPS and Luhri HEP along with HR Heads.
The session saw active participation of the representatives from INTUC, CITU and other contractor groups. Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma emphasized that SJVN Limited remains fully committed to addressing concerns, ensuring adherence to the new regulatory framework and maintaining industrial harmony. At 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, the session was led by Shri C.S Yadav, Executive Director (HR).
The sessions highlighted key features of the newly implemented Labour Codes, including Women Empowerment, inclusion of Gig & Platform Workers, enhanced Social Security, improved Occupational Safety and stronger Industrial Relations. Interactive discussions addressed participants queries, underscoring SJVN’s focus on open communication, workforce welfare and a smooth transition to the new regulatory framework.
