New Delhi, 27 November 2025: It is a moment of immense pride for NTPC Khargone Township, Khargone Super Thermal Power Station, as the township has been honoured with the IGBC Net Zero Waste Platinum (Operations) Rating at a prestigious ceremony held at the IGBC Jio Convention Centre, Mumbai.
This distinguished recognition stands as a testament to NTPC Khargone’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, efficient waste management, and environmental stewardship. The achievement reflects the township’s continuous efforts toward reducing waste, promoting recycling practices, and nurturing a cleaner and greener ecosystem for its residents and the surrounding community.
The award was proudly received by Shri Brajesh Kumar, DGM (Operation), acknowledging the dedicated efforts of the entire Khargone team that have driven this sustainability milestone.
