New Delhi, 14 November 2025: NTPC Tanda extended a warm welcome to Shri Gautam Deb, Regional Executive Director (North), and Smt. Bipasha Deb, President, Uttara Mahila Club, on their visit to the project.
Shri Jayadev Parida, Executive Director, NTPC Tanda, Smt. Sanghamitra Parida, President, Garima Mahila Mandal (GMM), and senior officials of NTPC Tanda accorded a cordial welcome to the dignitaries upon their arrival at the station.
During the visit, Shri Gautam Deb reviewed the operational and maintenance activities of the plant and visited key installations including the Control Room, Ash Dyke area. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of the team in maintaining operational efficiency, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
The Regional Executive Director also inaugurated a newly constructed B-Type quarter, signifying NTPC’s ongoing commitment to improving residential infrastructure and employee welfare.
Following the visit, Shri Deb interacted with senior officials, representatives of unions and associations, and discussed various initiatives aimed at enhancing performance, employee engagement, and sustainable growth.
As part of the day’s engagements, Garima Mahila Mandal organized a Children’s Day Celebration at Gyan Jyoti Welfare School. Smt. Bipasha Deb, president Uttra Ladies Club graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event featured vibrant cultural performances by the children, spreading messages of learning, joy, and creativity.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of gifts and refreshments among the children, marking a day filled with warmth, inspiration, and community bonding at NTPC Tanda.
