New Delhi, 11 November 2025: POWERGRID signed MoU with Power Department, Govt. of Sikkim, to upgrade and strengthen the LT transmission network of remote border villages in the state under CSR.
The MoU was signed by Shri S T Bhutia, Chief Engineer, Power Department, Govt. of Sikkim, and Shri N K Bhaskar, Sr. GM (Gangtok-CSSTDS) in presence of Shri Bikash Deokota, Secretary Power, Govt. of Sikkim, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel), POWERGRID, Shri Jasbir Singh, ED (CSR), Shri Ashok Kumar Naik, CGM I/c (ER-ll & Odisha Projects), Shri Prashant Kumar, GM (HR), POWERGRID.
