New Delhi, 17 October 2025: The 5th India-Australia Energy Dialogue, Co-Chaired by Hon’ble Minister for Power, Shri Manohar Lal, and Shri Chris Bowen, Minister for Climate Change and Energy, Commonwealth Government of Australia, held on Thursday, the 16th October 2025, in New Delhi.
The Indian delegation, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Power, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gases, Ministry of Mines and Ministry of Coal of Govt. of India, presented updates on progress and future cooperation pathways under their respective Joint Working Groups.
Discussions focused on global transition to net zero emissions, practical cooperation, energy efficiency, and enabling technologies, recognizing the role of green hydrogen. The Ministers underscored the India-Australia partnership’s pivotal role in advancing secure, robust, and sustainable energy systems in the Indo-Pacific region.
