New Delhi, 22 September 2025: NTPC limited have received compliance assurance for ISO 31000, the globally recognized benchmark for risk management. The certificate was formally presented to Shri K S Sundaram, Director (Projects) & Chairman, Risk Management Committee, NTPC, by Shri Siddharth Biswas, Regional Head (North), Bureau Veritas (India) Pvt. Ltd. The occasion was also graced by Smt. Sangeeta Kaushik, ED (Corporate Planning) & Chief Risk Officer, NTPC, along with her team.
The letter of conformity was awarded following a rigorous and comprehensive audit process, covering 12 plants/headquarters on-site and 24 plants/headquarters remotely.
In his address, Director (Projects) emphasized on the importance of sustaining this momentum, and also underlined the need for robust monitoring mechanisms across all stations to ensure continued adherence to the enterprise-wide risk governance framework.
