Kolkata, 30 September 2026: Dr. Anjani Kumar takes charge as Director (Technical/Projects & Planning), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL). An IIT (ISM) Dhanbad alumnus, Dr. Kumar holds a B.Tech. in Mining Engineering and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, along with an MBA in HR and an Executive Diploma in Project Management. With over 33 years of experience in Coal India Limited, he brings extensive expertise in mining, project planning, contracts and corporate management.
