New Delhi, 21 May 2026: Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC visited Salal Power Station, Jammu and Kashmir from 18 to 20 May 2026. Upon arrival at the power station, Shri K.T. Raja Pandian, Chief of the Power Station, welcomed him.
The Director (Personnel) participated in a special interactive session with newly appointed trainee engineers, trainee officers, and junior engineers, engaging in a heartfelt dialogue with the young workforce and motivating them towards organizational values, work culture, and professional excellence.
The Director (Personnel) released the sixth issue of the Salal Power Station’s in-house magazine ‘Smarika’ and, while conveying a message on environmental conservation, also planted saplings in the premises. Additionally, he participated in a special signature campaign organized under the ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ fortnight and urged everyone to stay aware of cleanliness and a clean environment.
