New Delhi, 10 February 2026: GAIL Pata has enabled fastest commissioning of PP Polymer unit with complex processing configurations within three months of the mechanical completion. The safe and successful execution of the Polypropylene production is an outcome of dedicated and relentless efforts of highly skilled and experienced O&M, Project and Safety team of GAIL engineers under prompt and finer intervention of leadership team.
GAIL (India) Limited has successfully commissioned the 60 KTA Polypropylene (PP) Project at its Pata Petrochemical Complex, marking a key milestone in expanding its petrochemical portfolio. The new unit will produce three polymer grades: Homo Polymer, Impact Polymer, and Co-Polymer, and has been commissioned along with associated utilities, offsite facilities, including Nitrogen Plant, and Mounded Bullet.
