Lucknow, 26 January 2026: Shri G. Srinivas Rao, Chief Executive Officer of Meja Urja Nigam Limited, hoisted the national flag and delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the significant achievements of Meja Energy Corporation. On this patriotic occasion, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), DGR Security personnel, and a contingent of children from St. Joseph’s School saluted the tricolor flag. Mrs. Kavita Rao, President of Aparajita Mahila Samaj, was also present on the occasion.
To celebrate Republic Day, children from Our Little Kingdom, Bal Bhavan, Bal Srijan, and St. Joseph’s School presented patriotic dances, filling everyone with patriotic fervor. A security-related presentation by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) enthralled the audience.
The event was attended by Mr. Pankaj Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager (Engineering); Mr. Narendra Nath Sinha, General Manager (Operations & Maintenance); Mr. Anand Prakash, General Manager (Projects); Mr. Ashok Kumar Samal, General Manager (Maintenance), Mr. A. K. Chaudhary (Chief Medical Officer), Mr. Vivek Chandra (Additional General Manager, Human Resources), all Heads of Departments, representatives of the Employees’ Union and Executive Association, and other senior officers and employees from various departments, along with their families.
Following the celebrations, Meja Energy Corporation honored employees with Meritorious Awards for their outstanding performance throughout the year. Awards were also presented to the personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
