New Delhi, 05 January 2026: Senior NTPC official and Executive Director, Shri G. Srinivasa Rao, assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer of Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited today, on 05.01.2026. With his remarkable track record of leadership and expertise across diverse projects, Shri G. Srinivasa Rao will guide the Company through its next phase of growth and development.
Shri G. Srinivasa Rao is a Mechanical Engineer from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He joined NTPC in 1989 as 14th batch of Engineering Executive Trainees (ET). He has previously worked in the Operation and EEMG department in Ramagundam. After that, he worked in the EEMG department in Kudgi and then moved to Operation department in Kahalgaon. He subsequently worked in Operation Services-Strategic Initiatives and Information Systems (OS-SIIS) at CC-SCOPE in New Delhi and CC-EOC in Noida.
Before his appointment as CEO of MUNPL Meja, Shri G. Srinivasa Rao held the position of Head of Project at NTPC Barh. Shri G. Srinivasa Rao’s extensive and diverse experience across multiple key positions in NTPC has significantly enriched his role, bringing valuable expertise to both the posts he has held and the projects he has led.
Under the able leadership of Shri G. Srinivasa Rao, MUNPL Meja shall achieve new heights of success and march forward to newer milestones.
