Shimla, 26 December 2025: Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD, SJVN Limited informed that SJVN has successfully achieved COD of 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project today, marking significant milestone in Company’s journey towards strengthening nation’s power generation capacity. Earlier the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, laid the foundation stone of this project on 3rd January 2023 at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
1000 MW BSPP has been developed under the Central Public Sector Undertaking Scheme – Phase II, Tranche III, of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India. Implementation under DCR mode is expected to provide a further boost to indigenous solar manufacturing ecosystem.
