New Delhi, 24 December 2025: An awareness session on “Implementation of the New Four Labour Codes” was organised at SCOPE, New Delhi. Shri Ayush Gupta, Director (Human Resources), GAIL, joined the panel discussion and urged the industry to come together through working groups to ensure effective implementation of the Codes.
He noted that while the Codes already provide significant clarity, the forthcoming rules would sharpen operational guidance, and he emphasised co‑learning—stressing that as more queries arise, the collective understanding of stakeholders will continue to deepen. The panel featured eminent experts and leaders, including Ms. Richa Sharma, Director, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India; Dr. Onkar Sharma, Former Chief Labour Commissioner; Shri Krishana Kumar Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL; and professionals from E&Y.
Together, the panellists shared nuanced insights on operationalising the Labour Codes, highlighting statutory compliance requirements, practical implementation challenges and the importance of collaborative, industry–government engagement for smooth and timely implementation.
