New Delhi, 24 December 2025: On the occasion of Annual Mines Safety Week–2025, an inspection of Pakri Barwadih North West Coal Mining Project was successfully conducted today by the KDH–OCP team of North Karanpura Area, reaffirming the project’s strong commitment towards mine safety and statutory compliance.
The inspection was led by Shri A.K. Singh, Team Convenor and Project Officer, KDH Mine. The inspection team included Shri Shyam Kishor Kumar, ISO Observer, and Shri Dyamappa Adnur, Deputy Director of Mines Safety (Mechanical), Ranchi, whose presence added significant technical and regulatory value to the exercise.
The inspection was conducted under the leadership of Shri Sadananda Chary, Mine Agent, along with Shri Purushottam Soni, Mine Manager. The entire inspection process was effectively coordinated by Shri Sanjay Kumar Kandi, Safety Officer, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to safety protocols.
Senior officials present during the inspection included Shri Subrat Kumar Dash, Head of Project, Pakri Barwadih North West CMP; Shri Pawan Kumar Rawat, General Manager (Infra); and Shri Rajendra Prasad, Regional Head of Safety, NTPC Mining Limited, among other dignitaries.
The inspection marked an important milestone during Mines Safety Week–2025, highlighting NTPC Mining Limited’s unwavering focus on promoting a safe, secure, and sustainable mining environment through regular audits, inspections, and best safety practices.
