Kolkata, 19 December 2025: Shri B. Sairam, Chairman, Coal India Limited visited the Kendudih site of PB Area, under subsidiary Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL). He held interactions with scientific agencies supervising the implementation of abatement measures. He also visited relief camps and reviewed the support and relief measures being extended.
He also met the Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS), and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhanbad, to further strengthen inter-agency coordination. The discussions focused on enhancing safety arrangements and ensuring effective management of the situation.
Shri Manoj Kumar Agarwal, CMD, BCCL, along with senior management, accompanied our Chairman during the visit.
