Patratu (Jharkhand), 17 December 2025: Consequent to COD of Unit No. 1 (800 MW), Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) successfully conducted its first Operation Review Team (ORT) meeting under the chairmanship of Shri Ashok Kumar Sehgal, CEO, PVUNL Patratu.
During the meeting Director (Operations) also addressed the Team and emphasized on importance of reliability and operational efficiency to enhance the marginal contribution of Unit No.1. Director (Projects) and Chairman PVUNL also gave his guidance, appreciated the team and stressed on timely commissioning of Unit No. 2.
Senior officials present during the meeting included ED (OS), CGM (Project Construction), GM (O&M), GM (O&C), GM (Maintenance & ADM), GM (Project Construction), along with representatives from COS and the ORT Coordinator from ER-1.
The meeting focused on critical areas such as safety, key operational parameters, plant efficiency, and the improvement of financial performance. Detailed deliberations were held to identify opportunities and define a clear roadmap for operational excellence, reinforcing PVUNL Patratu’s commitment to safe, reliable, and efficient power generation.
