New Delhi, 05 September 2025: NTPC Mining Limited’s Pakri-Barwadih Coal Mining Project has been awarded the 5-Star Rated Opencast Coal Mine Award, securing 1st place among all opencast coal mines in India.
Shri Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel) along with Shri Subrat Kumar Dash, HoP (PB-CMP) and Shri Chandrashekhar (Mine Agent PB-CMP) received this award from Hon’ble Union Minister Shri G Kishan Reddy and Hon’ble MoS Shri Satish Chandra Dubey at a function in Mumbai.
This recognition is a testimony of NTPC’s commitment to sustainable mining, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
