Bangalore, 04 August 2025: India-Algeria Industrial defence seminar was organised under the aegis of DDP, Ministry of Defence of Algeria. The Indian Delegation was led by Shri Amit Satija, Joint Secretary (DIP). Maj Gen SEDDIKI Smail, Chief of Logistics Department, PNA Algeria led Algerian delegation. H.E (Dr.) Swati Vijay Kulkarni, Ambassador of India to Algeria, graced the occassion.
Almost 22 industries participated in the seminar and the representation varied from AI, Aerospace, Shipbuilding, MRO, Body Armour to Drone manufacturing. It further gave stimulus to defence cooperation between the two nations.
Both countries agreed to explore Industrial cooperation and joint defence production. This seminar highlighted Indian Defence manufacturing and projected India as a reliable Defence partner to Algeria.
