Bangalore, 19 July 2025: HAL in partnership with PES University, Bangalore, is organising a ‘HAL AEROTHON’ 25’ on July 19-20, 2025, at the PES University campus. More than 85 teams from 17 engineering colleges in Karnataka registered for the event and 35 shortlisted teams are taking part.
Teams face two challenges: Developing a functional Digital Twin of a helicopter’s fuel system and developing a Machine Learning or deep learning model that can classify Electro-optical and Infrared images. Cash prizes worth Rs 3 Lakh will be awarded to the winners.
