New Delhi, 11 May 2025: Shri Satish Upadhyaya, ED (Biomass) has been awarded the prestigious ‘Biomass Changemaker of the Year’ title at the International Summit & Expo on Bioenergy Value Chain, held in New Delhi on 8th & 9th May.
The recognition highlights his outstanding contributions under the SAMARTH – National Biomass Mission led by NTPC.
This accolade underscores the growing impact of biomass as a transformative force—not only as a source of sustainable energy but also as a catalyst for rural development, climate resilience and livelihood generation across India.
