New Delhi, 13 December 2024: The Ministry of Coal issues Letters of Award (LOA) to three coal gasification projects under Category I of the Government of India’s financial support scheme in the august presence of Shri Vikram Dev Dutt, Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Ms. Vismita Tej, Additional Secretary, and other senior officers of the Ministry.
Shri P M Prasad, Chairman, CIL, along with JV partners BHEL and GAIL, received the LOA for: Coal-to-Ammonium Nitrate Project by Bharat Coal Gasification & Chemicals Ltd (BCGCL), a JV of CIL & BHEL, in Odisha. Coal-to-SNG Project by CIL-GAIL JV in West Bengal. Coal-to-SNG Project by CIL in Maharashtra. This initiative signifies a transformative step towards promoting clean energy, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering a sustainable energy future.
