Raipur, 27 September 2024: A review meeting of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana scheme was held at the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. (CSPDCL) HQ in Danganiya. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shri Bhim Singh Kanwar, MD, CSPDCL, in the presence of senior officials from REC’s Regional Office in Raipur and CSPDCL.
Leading public and private sector banks, including SBI, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Bank of India, Union Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Indusind Bank, HDFC, ICICI, and AU Small Finance Bank, and vendors also participated in the meeting.
Shri Kanwar emphasised facilitating easy access of loans to the consumers for RTS installation, particularly those belonging to weaker sections of society, so as to boost the pace of installations. Promotional provisions and the issues faced by banks and vendors were also addressed in the meeting.
