New Delhi, 17 September 2024: Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has released the Electronics (Defence & Non-Defence) Glossary of BEL during the 4th All India Official Language Conference held on the occasion of Hindi Day at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
More than 7,200 technical terms have been standardised in Hindi in this glossary prepared under the guidance and coordination of subject experts from the Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), Ministry of Education, GoI.
Scientists and engineers of BEL were also actively involved in finalising the Hindi terms. This glossary will be useful for not only government organisations but also general readers, students, teachers and translators.
