New Delhi, 09 August 2024: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has secured the bid for 200 MW Solar capacity in the tender floated by SJVN for Selection of Solar Power Developers for setting up of ISTS-connected Projects anywhere in India under TBCB.
The won capacity entails an installation of 200 MW RE capacity with a capital outlay of approx. Rs 1000 Crore. The Reverse Auction for the tender was conducted on 8th August 2024 by SJVN. The energy generated from the project shall be procured by SJVN.
Presently, NTPC Group has 3.7 GW RE operational capacity with nearly 22 GW in pipeline. NTPC is committed to achieve 60 GW of Renewable Energy capacity by 2032.
