New Delhi, 21 December 2023: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Coal for appointment of Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya, Chief General Manager, NLC India Limited (NLCIL), (also currently on deputation to the post of Director (Finance) in Chennai Metro Rail Limited) to the post of Director (Finance), NLCIL for a period of five years with effect from the date of his
assumption of charge of the post.
Dr. P K Acharya have 25 plus years of experience in the domain of Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Regulation and Commercial, Project management particularly in Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Mining industry with exposure to Board meetings and working in close coordination with top management for various decisions making process.
