New Delhi, 19 October 2025: POWERGRID has declared 765/400/220 kV Pune GIS (Shikrapur) Substation as Pink Sub-station. This Substation is POWERGRID’s First Pink Station in its Western Region-I. Pink substations of POWERGRID are operated and headed by women executives in line with its commitment towards Women Empowerment.
The substation is being headed by Mrs. Shruti Tripathi, Chief Manager, POWERGRID. On this occasion, Sh. Vibhay Kumar, ED (WR-I) inaugurated the Pink Substation along with other senior officials. POWERGRID has been consistently rated as one of the Best Places for Women to Work
