New Delhi, 23 December 2025: Shri Niraj Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Government of India, visited 2880 MW Dibang Multipurpose Project and reviewed the progress of ongoing construction works, including Diversion Tunnels, Power House, project roads, bridges and other associated infrastructure.
On his arrival at the project site, he was welcomed by Shri Narender Kumar, Executive Director and Head of the Dibang Multipurpose Project, in the presence of senior NHPC officers and representatives of the contractors. During the visit, Shri Niraj Kumar, JS observed the construction activities and remarked that a project of such magnitude truly represents nation-building. He appreciated the dedication and commitment of the entire project team and assured all possible support from the Government of India to NHPC for the successful commissioning of the project.
