05 Days Mid-Career Training for Chief Engineers of CEA Inaugurated at HRD Centre, THDC Ltd.

Rishikesh, 07 May 2024: A comprehensive 05-day mid-career training program for the 2nd Batch of Chief Engineers of the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) inaugurated at the HRD Centre, THDC India Limited in Rishikesh. Scheduled from 6th May to 10th May, 2024 this training program signifies a significant stride towards enhancing leadership skills and embracing emerging technologies in the Power Sector.

Shri R K Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, THDC India Limited, emphasized the importance of this program in enhancing the leadership skills of mid-career professionals and providing training on emerging technologies in the Power Sector to prepare them for the Digital Age.

He highlighted THDC’s commitment to the overall development and technological advancement in the Power Sector, alongside providing 24×7 affordable power to the nation. Sh. Vishnoi stressed the importance of continuous learning and professional development in today’s dynamic landscape, urging participants to leverage the program for skill enhancement and collective progress in the Power Sector.

Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), THDC India Limited inaugurated the 5-day training program at THDCIL’s HRD Centre at Rishikesh and said that this comprehensive 5-day program aims to equip Chief Engineers of CEA with the necessary tools and insights to thrive in the Digital Age.

Notably, the faculty for this training program is from prestigious IIM Kashipur further enhancing the quality of the training. This collaboration brings expertise and insights from one of the leading management institutions, enriching the learning experience for participants.

Sh. Singh emphasized on the importance of cultivating a learning mindset in today’s fast-paced business landscape, underlining its role in organizational success. He noted the privilege of THDCIL in having a modern State-of-the-Art HRD Center nestled in environmentally friendly surroundings in Rishikesh. This center has been instrumental in hosting numerous programs and workshops aimed at harnessing various energy resources.
