New Delhi, 17 August 2022: The Competent Authority of Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India under financial and administrative powers & functions, approved the appointment of Shri Surya Swaroop Saxena, General Manager, Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd. as Chairman-Cum-Managing Director, (AICIL) on additional charge basis for a period of six months with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until appointment of regular incumbent to the post or until further order, whichever is the earliest.
Although the Financial Services Institutions Bureau interviewed 7 candidates on July 27, 2022 for the positions of CMD of Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited (AICIL), and recommended the name of Ms. Girija Subramanian, General Manager, General Insurance Company (GIC Re) for the post. It seems that she has wait little more till her appointment get approved in due time and order released by the Ministry of Finance.
