Shimla, 04 May 2026: Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary (Power), Govt. of India chaired a Quarterly Performance Review meeting of SJVN at SJVN Limited Corporate Headquarters, Shimla in presence of Shri Diwakar Nath Misra, Additional Secretary (Hydro and EC&ET) and Shri Milind Ganesh Gokhale, Member (Hydro), CEA-Central Electricity Authority, India.
Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD, SJVN, Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), Shri Parthajit De, Director (Finance), Shri Rajesh Kumar Chandel, OSD to CMD along with Heads of Projects, Heads of Departments and senior officials of SJVN were present in the meeting
The Quarterly Performance Review meeting covered key operational, financial and technical parameters, including CAPEX utilisation, MoU performance and quarterly progress of hydro, thermal and solar projects under implementation. Progress of hydroelectric projects being implemented in Nepal was also reviewed.
The meeting also deliberated on critical issues requiring coordination with Ministry of Power, other Central Ministries, State Governments and Government of Nepal, with a focus on expediting clearances and strengthening inter-agency collaboration for timely execution of projects.
The deliberations emphasized enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening project execution capabilities and achieving higher benchmarks in performance, in line with the Government of India’s vision for accelerated development of the power sector.
