New Delhi, 14 April 2026: Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, Secretary (Defence Production), accompanied by Ms Meera Mohanty, IAS, Joint Secretary (P&C), visited BEL Corporate Office today. During the visit, they reviewed the progress of several ongoing initiatives, including R&D projects, strategic programmes, indigenisation efforts, and various policy implementations. The review meeting was attended by Shri Manoj Jain, BEL CMD, all Functional Directors, EDs and GMs.
Secretary (DP) expressed satisfaction with BEL’s performance and engaged with the Management, offering guidance, and identifying priority areas for BEL in the pursuit of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives.
