New Delhi, 13 March 2026: POWERGRID has acquired TBCB project SPV ‘NES Pune East Transmission Limited’ for execution of ‘Network Expansion scheme in Maharashtra for removal of Transmission constrains in Pune Region-I (765/400 kV AIS Pune East).’
The project comprises establishment of AIS Pune East Sub-Station with 2×1500 MVA, 765/400 kV ICT with 1×240 MVAR bus Reactor at 765 kV level, 765kV & 400kV Transmission Lines traversing Maharashtra and bay extension works. The project shall help resolve HRD constraints and meet upcoming load including data center loads in and around Pune.
