Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD SJVN Addressed the Special Vendor Development Meet for MSME at New Delhi

New Delhi, 19 February 2026: The event commenced with lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Shri Bhupender Gupta, along with Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, Director (Finance), Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav, ED/HOD (HR) and other senior officials.

In his inaugural address, Shri Bhupender Gupta stated that SVDM 2026 will act as catalyst for forging new partnerships, unlocking fresh opportunities & strengthening collaborations. Since 2018, SJVN has organized 36 VDMs reaffirming its commitment to vendor empowerment.

Emphasizing that MSME growth is integral to SJVN’s progress, Shri Bhupender Gupta underscored need to integrate SC/ST and women-owned MSMEs into mainstream economic ecosystem and enhance their participation in SJVN’s procurement processes.

SJVN is proactively engaging with MSMEs to achieve its procurement targets & extend benefits of public procurement to MSEs. Such initiatives foster a self-reliant, future-ready & inclusive MSME network, contributing to AatmaNirbhar Bharat Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel).

SJVN is committed to closely engaging with MSMEs, which form backbone of Indian economy. MSMEs play a pivotal role in realizing vision of Vikshit Bharat 2047, as envisaged by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, Director (Finance).

Shri Sipan Kumar Garg emphasized that SJVN seeks to cultivate a collaborative hub of knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices with MSMEs.

Vote of Thanks was delivered by Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav, EDHR). He conveyed heartfelt thanks to the Chief Guest, participating vendors and officials from various organizations.

Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav reiterated that such Meets have proved immensely beneficial in streamlining procurement processes while simultaneously empowering MSEs and strengthening their engagement with SJVN.

The presentation session was followed by interactive Q&A and discussion sessions aimed at creating awareness about SJVN’s e-Procurement process, registration procedures on various online portals and range of schemes and support measures available to vendors.
