Bangalore, 19 February 2026: BEL and SASMOS HET Technologies Ltd, a prominent player in the aerospace, defence and space sectors, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on advanced defence technologies.
Shri Manoj Jain, CMD BEL, said that BEL is confident of delivering indigenous solutions serving national & global requirements by combining its expertise in defence electronics with SASMOS’s capabilities in fibre optics and photonics.
Shri HG Chandrashekar, Chairman & Managing Director, SASMOS, added that both the companies would together accelerate innovation, co-develop advanced technologies, and contribute meaningfully to India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047.
