Shimla, 06 February 2026: Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD SJVN Limited informed that SJVN’s 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station has recorded fastest-ever generation of 2000 MUs in a FY on 5.2.2026. This is best generation performance of Power Station in its eleven yrs of operation.
Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, Director (Finance), SJVN, stated that this record performance demonstrates the synergy between sound financial management and operational excellence.
Since its commissioning, Rampur Hydro Power Station has consistently set new benchmarks in generation performance, reflecting strength of its engineering design, rigorous maintenance regimes and sustained operational excellence.
