Rishikesh, 27 October 2025: THDC India Limited, a premier power sector PSU, reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and ethical governance by commencing the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27th October to 2nd November 2025 across all its offices and project locations.
On this occasion, Shri R. K. Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director, THDC India Limited, emphasized that vigilance is the collective responsibility of every individual and forms the foundation of good governance. He highlighted this year’s theme, “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
Shri Vishnoi also underscored the significance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in the workplace, stating that these values are essential for building trust and ensuring ethical conduct across all levels of the organization.
The week commenced with Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, Director (Finance), administering the Vigilance Pledge to all employees at the Corporate Office, Rishikesh. In his address, Shri Garg highlighted the importance of vigilance, ethics, and integrity in both professional and personal life.
He urged all employees to be vigilant in every action they undertake, emphasizing that when each individual performs their duties with honesty, transparency, and awareness, the entire organization benefits and grows stronger.
On this occasion, Ms. Rashmita Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer, stated that “Vigilance is not merely a formality, but a fundamental element of our organizational culture. The foundation of the organization is strengthened only when every employee upholds integrity, transparency, and accountability in their work.
We must ensure that honesty becomes our habit and transparency our identity.” During the occasion, Shri Garg also unveiled the Vigilance Awareness Booklet 2025, a compilation featuring articles and messages promoting ethical conduct, transparency, and good governance across all spheres of organizational functioning along with Dr. A. N. Tripathy, CGM (HR & A&CC), and Shri S. K. Arya, Dy. CVO. During the week, various activities such as essay writing, quiz competitions, and slogan writing on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility” will be organized to encourage active participation and awareness among employees.
