Kolkata, 13 October 2025: Shri P M Prasad, our Chairman chaired a review meeting of our subsidiary, WCL, at Nagpur focusing on key areas such as production, productivity, environmental protection, CSR, and strategic planning.
He appreciated WCL’s performance and expressed optimism for even better results in the current fiscal year. Shri Prasad emphasized the need for adopting new technologies, enhancing safety in mining operations, and effective planning.
He also reviewed the coal transportation system, providing valuable suggestions for its improvement. Shri J P Dwivedi, CMD WCL, presented a detailed overview of WCL’s achievements and strategic plans for FY 2025-26. The meeting was attended by senior management and CVO of WCL.
