New Delhi, 13 October 2025: NML Pakri Barwadih proudly celebrated NTPC’s Golden Jubilee, marking 50 glorious years of excellence, dedication, and nation-building in the power sector. The grand event, organized with immense enthusiasm by the EWA of NML Pakri Barwadih, brought together employees, their families, and a wide community of well-wishers in a joyous evening of unity, pride, and celebration.
The celebration was graced by Shri Subrat Kumar Dash, Head of Project, NML Pakri Barwadih, and Smt. Anita Dash, President, Jagriti Mahila Sangh, who attended as the Chief Guest of the evening.
The program commenced with a warm welcome of dignitaries on the occasion by Shri Anirudh Singh, Head of HR, followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting to mark NTPC’s remarkable 50-year journey.
Adding a star-studded charm to the celebration, Indian Idol Season 13 fame Bidipta Chakraborty enthralled the audience with her soulful renditions. Her melodious performance filled the atmosphere with music and nostalgia, leaving the audience spellbound.
On the occasion, Shri Subrat Kumar Dash highlighted NTPC’s inspiring five-decade-long journey from its inception in 1975 to its present stature as India’s largest integrated energy major. He lauded the relentless efforts, dedication, and teamwork of employees — both past and present — whose commitment continues to be the cornerstone of NTPC’s success story.
The event concluded with energetic dance performances by employees, celebrating the spirit of togetherness and joy. The evening ended on a note of gratitude towards all dignitaries, participants, and the organizing team of EWA NML Pakri Barwadih for making the Golden Jubilee celebration truly memorable.
