Bangalore, 02 October 2025: Units of BEL across the country paid homage to the Mahatma on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and pledged to follow in his footsteps, embracing the Gandhian principles of Satya and Ahimsa.
At BEL Corporate Office, employees took Swachhata Pledge in the presence of Shri Manoj Jain, CMD, Shri Nilabhra Sengupta, CVO, & Shri Ramkumar B, GM (HR). As part of the ongoing ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign, saplings were planted at Units and floral tributes offered to freedom fighters.
A variety of colourful events were held to mark the occasion, such as “Sarva Dharma Sabha” featuring reciting of verses from the Bhagavad Geeta, Quran and Bible, and reciting of Swachhata Geet and Swachhta Poem by tiny tots. Families of martyrs were honoured on the occasion.
