New Delhi, 07 July 2025: General Anil Chauhan, PVSM UYSM AVSM SM VSM, Chief of Defence Staff, visited BEL-Ghaziabad on 05 July along with senior officers of the three Services. The CDS was welcomed by Shri Manoj Jain, CMD, Shri Rajnish Sharma, Director (BC), Ms Prabha Goyal, ED (NM), Shri Anoop Rai, CS (CRL), and Shri Giriraja N, GM (DCCS), along with SBU Heads of BEL-GAD. BEL’s product profile, capabilities & capex upgradation plan were showcased to the CDS.
The CDS stressed on the need for indigenisation of missile and other weapon systems, and also the rapid deployment of such indigenised products for the Defence forces.
