Gandhinagar, 18 September 2024: Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan (IAS), CMD, REC Ltd. participated in a pivotal roundtable on ‘Exploring Climate Finance Opportunities for Gujarat’, organised by the Govt. of Gujarat, at the 4th Global REInvest in Gandhinagar.
Speaking on the investment requirements for India’s net-zero targets, Shri V K Dewangan has emphasised the importance of greater participation from international finance. Taking the discussion further, he shared an overview of Gujarat’s existing renewable energy capacity, green hydrogen economy, and carbon credit trading in the state. He also highlighted REC’s financial solutions that cover almost all types of renewable energy projects.
