New Delhi, 03 September 2024: In a significant step towards completion of NHPC’s 2000MW Subansiri Lower HEP , final concreting of Unit-4 power house started in august presence of Shri R K Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC and senior officers from Corporate Office & Project on 02 September 2024. Completion of concrete of Unit-4 shall facilitate for start of erection of Generator and timely completion of Project.
With this, out of total 8 no of Pressure Shafts, erection of Lane-2, 4, 5, 6 & 8 has been completed and erection of Steel Liner in remaining lanes of pressure shafts are also under advance stage of completion. The completion of erection of Steel Liner will facilitate construction of remaining Concrete plugs between Head Race tunnels for early completion of Project.
